Welcome to the website of the linked parishes of St Andrew and Blessed George Haydock which is situated in Cottam, Lancashire, England, and St Mary, Lea Town.

Both parishes are sited in a rural area to the North West of Preston and come under the jurisdiction of the Lancaster RC diocese which is Registered Charity No. 234331.

The Parish Priest is Father Adrian J Towers and also serving in the parishes is deacon Rev John Cliffe.

The first is for exploring objects of faith with reference to the catechism, sharing news of the year 6 pupils who are coming on pilgrimage from all corners of the diocese and advertising and reporting on events for adults throughout the diocese.

The second will provide practical activities for children.

The third is a feedback form.

 

Dangerous Parking

The bend at the junction of Hoyles Lane and Sandy Lane is very dangerous and you are requested not to park there when attending any of the Church services.

Unfortunately, for various reasons, it isn’t always possible to cone the area so your co-operation would be appreciated as safety is a big concern.

Please park on the straight stretches of the two lanes only.
