Making hay while the sun shines

(and at the same time getting the groundwork done preparing for the
Garden Party)

Could it be that the top picture is not the moment of quiet contemplation as it might appear but of inspiration for a new game for the Garden Party?

Maybe the idea it is to place bets on which way the bale will fall on the command of "Hands up and step back quickly!"

The middle picture is proof that work can be fun as man and machine at full throttle attempt to set a new record for negotiating the bale chicane obstacle course.

Credit where credit is due!  The bottom picture captures the time when the machinery got a pat on the head in recognition of its considerable help in getting the job done to everyone's satisfaction.
